About Us

Milksnakes
The eight sub-families of the family colubridae contain over 2000 species of snakes. Over half of the worlds snakes are in to of these sub-families, Colubrinae and Natricinae. Colubrids can be found all over the world and are dominant on every continent except Australia. Milksnakes got their name from early Americans traveling West during the 1800's. The settlers blamed poor milk production from their cows on "cow suckers" or "milk snakes" latching on to their udders and draining the milk! As we all know, this was not the case. Most of our milksnakes are captive born and come in a exciting array of colors and patterns. Look through our availably and find the right one for you!
